Dr Jodi Croft is a Wollongong based Obstetrician and Gynaecologist commencing work at Nowra Private Hospital. She grew up in Tomerong and was educated locally at Shoalhaven High School. Jodi completed her medical degree at the University of Sydney, and undertook her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at St George Hospital in Kogarah, with a large part of her training at The Wollongong Hospital.
Obstetrics – Dr Croft is happy managing all facets of obstetrics and gynaecology including:
- Pre-pregnancy counselling
- Early pregnancy problems
- Antenatal care and childbirth
- Postnatal care
Gynaecology - Dr Jodi Croft has a broad knowledge and special interest in general gynaecology having completed her fellowship in advanced gynaecological and laparoscopic surgery with Dr Greg Robertson (Gynaecological Oncologist at St George Hospital). She is competent in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery. Jodi understands that all women are different and she will tailor a management plan to suit your needs. Her services include:
- Cervical screening and colposcopy
- Menstrual disorders and contraception, including IUCD (Mirena) insertion
- PCOS
- Endometriosis
- Fibroids
- Menopause including post-menopausal bleeding
- Laparoscopy including laparoscopic & robotics assisted hysterectomy
Jodi is a mother with five boys including three of her own and two stepsons. She works full time from Amélie Private with Dr Pip Gale and also sees patients in Gerringong once per fortnight. She is extremely busy with many hobbies including Peloton, Park Run, Sewing, Painting, and Swimming to mention just a few. Jodi grew up in the Illawarra on the South Coast and has been living in Wollongong area for the past 20 years.
Jodi is now operating at Nowra Private Hospital to support the South Coast where she grew up.
