Dr Khalid Ahmed is general surgeon with an interest in reflux, hiatus hernia
and weight loss surgery.
Khalid graduated from Iraq, then working in Abu Dhabi and the UK.
In 2007 Khalid migrated to Australia where he worked for six years as
a junior general surgeon registrar in multiple subspecialties (including
urology, plastics, ENT and Trauma).
In 2013, he then enrolled in the advanced general surgical training
program from RACS in Western Sydney hospitals including Westmead,
Nepean, Blacktown and Auburn completing this training in 2019, gaining
subspecialty training in advanced ENT, Vascular, Urology, acute surgical
unit and rural surgery.
In 2021 Khalid undertook Fellowship in Upper GI Unit at Wollongong
Public Hospital and Wollongong Private Hospital where he was involved in
gastric, oesophageal and pancreatic surgeries.
In 2022 Khalid received his Fellowship in General Surgery from RACS as
well as GESA certification for Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy.
