Meals for Visitors

Meals are generally not available for visitors however in certain circumstances visitors can purchase either lunch or dinner from the Catering Department. Meals are at a minimum cost and should be paid for at reception. Meals are generally available to the immediate family of palliative care patients, immediate family members who have travelled long distances to visit, family members that are staying in hotel accommodation whilst their spouse is in hospital or for a parent staying with their child.

The meals provided are the hot meal of the day. Meals should be ordered before 10.30 am for lunch or 3.45 for dinner. Meals are generally limited to either lunch or dinner.

Visitor Lounge

For visitor convenience, there are visitor lounges. Several outside courtyards are located on the hospital grounds and can be used by visitors and patients, weather permitting.
