Nowra Private Hospital has a strong commitment to support our staff with their learning and development. As part of the Ramsay Health Care group of hospitals, our staff have additional opportunities for career experience/advancement across the large group of over 100 facilities located across Australia, the UK, Indonesia and France.
Internal Training and Development
We are committed to promoting and encouraging the personal and professional development of our staff by offering an internal education program ranging from clinical, administrative and management skills. A monthly calendar of training and education is published and distributed to staff.
At the commencement of employment, all staff are required to complete an on line Orientation Program.
In addition to the hospital orientation all staff are provided with comprehensive orientation to the department in which they are employed.
External Education Assistance
We support staff in attending externally run courses and programs. This includes short courses, seminars/workshops, higher education at TAFE/ Universities or conferences. Staff wishing to apply for support for such programs are required to submit an application to the Director of Clinical Services for approval.
